Twitter maps on bing
Twitter maps available on the bing maps page. To install twitter maps app you need to switch to US edition of the bing maps, but the service can be used to discover the twitter friends in any part of the world.
After succesfull install , zoom-in to any location on the map by using mouse scroller and find the users in that location. To see the tweets ,click on the “twitter pushpins”
Twitter search with location
Search feature in twitter helps you to find tweets in the location you search. To use this type “near:” followed by city name , street or zip code(if ur in US) ,twitter will show you the tweet in that location.
For instance,the query “near:newyork within:2km” will show you the list of tweet from the location. The search is global ,you can use this to see the tweets on any location.
